Homework
Reading Log
- Students are expected to read for at least 30 minutes every day. On Friday they will return a signed reading log showing how long they read for the entire week.
Writing Journal
- At the beginning of each month students will be given a sheet with a variety of writing prompts. Each week a new writing prompt should be selected depending on the student's interest.
- Please look over the writing before it is turned in on Friday. Journal entries should be at least five sentences long with proper punctuation, spelling, and elaborated sentences. Be sure that the journal is dated and that both sides of the paper are used.
Eureka Math
- Students will have a homework to practice the lesson.
Math Games
- Throughout the year students will continue to be given new card games to play and practice various math skills. The games should remain in the H.E.R.O folder all year along with the deck of cards for practice in the classroom.
