A Message From Mrs. Palacio:
Last year our school had its first-ever Robotics Lab and VEX IQ competition team, the Germain Botz!
I have had the opportunity to introduce all students to the world of robotics and coding, with weekly lessons that help them develop skills in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields.
As a VEX IQ competition coach, I’ve helped students learn how to design, build, and program robots to compete in local district VEX IQ competitions, and THEY DID AMAZING!

Teaching robotics and coding to Germain students is important because it helps prepare them for the future. It helps our students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, fosters creativity and innovation, encourages teamwork and collaboration, and builds confidence and self-esteem, all while preparing them to thrive in the 21st century.
